Little Red Wagon

This song is a bouncing rhyme too. Have caregivers bounce their children on their knees gently during the first and last verse. If this is a group of babies, caregivers can hold their hands during the rest of the song to make the actions.

Bumpin' up and down in my little red wagon, (bounce child gently)
Bumpin' up and down in my little red wagon.
Bumpin' up and down in my little red wagon,
Won't you be my darling?

One wheel's off and the axle's broken, (pretend to be snapping a stick)
One wheel's off and the axle's broken.
One wheel's off and the axle's broken,
How are we going to fix it?

We're going to fix it with a hammer, (hitone fist into other hand)
We're going to fix it with a hammer.
We're going to fix it with a hammer!
Won't you be my darling?

Bumpin' up and down in my little red wagon.
Bumpin' up and down in my little red wagon,
Bumpin' up and down in my little red wagon.
Won't you be my darling?

Note: in this version, Freddie's going to fix the wheel with his hammer.
